IPA Steel Fabrication specializes in premium wood-burning stoves and offers advanced manufacturing capabilities to bring custom steel products to life.
About us
IPA is a family-owned SME located in southern Slovakia. Since 1995, we have manufactured over 300 thousand wood-burning stoves, which are sold throughout the EU. We continuously strive to improve our manufacturing capabilities, both in terms of processes and equipment.
Although we specialize in stove manufacturing, our equipment is
capable of handling stages of the steel fabrication process for a
wide range of other products.

Capabilities
Our production facility features two advanced laser cutting robots: the Phoenix FL-3015 and the TruLaser 3030. The Phoenix FL-3015 offers a hydraulic lifting table and storage for sheet metal and finished parts, while the TruLaser 3030 is a CNC-controlled machine that delivers exceptional cutting accuracy with its precision-guided laser beam.
We are operating with two Haas ST-10 lathes. These compact yet high-performance CNC turning machines offer a 135 mm chuck size, a maximum workpiece tilt of 419 mm, and a 12-tool capacity. These features ensure precise and efficient machining of cylindrical parts, making them ideal for both small and medium-sized production runs.
Our bending capabilities include two press brakes. The TruBend 5085, a CNC-controlled press brake, delivers precise bending with 850 kN pressing force and a 2210 mm bevel length, ideal for larger tasks. The Amada Promecam HF 50-12 T provides 500 kN pressing force and a 1270 mm bevel length for smaller, precise applications. Together, these machines handle diverse production needs.
Our painting process uses electrostatic spraying for efficient, high-quality finishes. Work happens in extraction cabins with triple filtration. Parts move on an 87m forced-drive conveyor (100 kg/m capacity) before curing in drying ovens (2x110 kW heating). This setup ensures precision, durability, and a streamlined workflow.
Our blasting capabilities include two OPTIMA machines. The OPTIMA 12-22-T blasts parts suspended on a rotating hook, ensuring thorough surface coverage (Ø1200 x 2200 mm, 500kg/hook). The OPTIMA-J, also suspended, accommodates smaller parts (Ø1000 x 1400 mm, 500kg/hook).
Rounding operations are performed using three sheet metal bending machines. The MRB-S 1506 handles sheets up to 6 mm thick with a 1530 mm working length and 150 mm cylinder diameter. The LPH/1.25 supports sheets up to 5 mm thick with a 1300 mm working length, while the LPH/1 accommodates 5 mm sheets with a 1050 mm working length and 130 mm cylinder diameter.
Welding precision is achieved through four advanced robotic systems. These include a Cloos Romat 350 / Rotrol II, a Qirox QRC 320 H, a Yaskawa MA1900, and two OTC Daihen FD-B6L robots. Each system is designed to ensure consistent, high-quality welding across diverse applications.
In 2023, we introduced a 40-meter-long assembly line with five stations, making it ideal for high-volume production. We combine this modern assembly line with a traditional workshop, ensuring greater flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to changes when needed.
